As a photographer it's incredibly easy to get stuck in a rut with photo taking. That's why I try to do a couple of photoshoots a year that I'm trying something new and different. This year I had a wild hair to do a sunrise shoot!
I should preface this with the fact that I probably should've done this in the summertime... buuuut I didn't :) And it was pretty cold, but oh so worth it!
I've wanted to do a photoshoot at the famous Rattlesnake Lake in North Bend, WA for a long time but just never seemed to get around to it. So I contacted Sanya, a model from Seattle, and asked if she wanted to do a crazy early shoot with me! Which she did!
I woke up around 430 to get ready, pick up some supplies and head to the mountain for the sunrise. It was well worth the early wakeup and the drive there was beautiful because it was a clear and sunny morning. On the way there I even saw a shooting star, which was pretty awesome!
Sanya was so easy to work with, especially considering the early morning! She even had to go get hair and makeup done before arriving!
Have a look through the session and leave a comment if you have any questions! I'll glad give some tips and tricks if you want to know more about the session.
