Film photography. It’s where I started my photography, processing film in my Franklin Pierce High School dark room. It feels like a different life at this point. Who knew it would evolve into a passion years later?
Over the last couple of years, I’ve rekindled my love of film photography, without all of the darkroom work though! I just love how film photography looks. The buttery backgrounds, crisp subject focus, and a special feeling of character with each image.
I hope to transition more into film from digital photography. The last few years I have been slowly doing this already. This past family I actually left my digital camera at home and relied only on my film cameras (well, a few iPhone pics too :)).
Have a look at how the images came out! These are all using my medium format Pentax camera.
I’ll be offering more film sessions this year, with some fun, themed mini-session dates! Email me for more info: firstname.lastname@example.org.
